Mrs. Haugk worked for the Bell System, Telephone, Bell Laboratories, and Illinois Bell Telephone Companies for 38 years and was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by her daughters, Judith Myers Roa of Hollywood, MD and Yvonne Myers Elliott and her husband Ray of Lawrenceville, GA. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Mark T. For several years, until her marriage, she taught Math at Sylvan High School. Later, she taught at The Lovett School and was head of the Math department for the Middle School. Mrs.

Roberts was interested in antiques and was owner of The Cobweb for most of her adult life. She was president for over 50 years of her Agnes Scott graduating class. She was also an original founder for the Northside Methodist Preschool, and active in Northside Methodist Church in various capacities including Board of Trustees. She was a member of The Pine Tree Garden Club and a proud member of The Alabama Club. In addition to her husband, Mrs.

Roberts is survived by her children and their spouses; Malinda and William Hill, Susan and John Helms all of Atlanta and Missy and Matson Roberts of Richmond, Virginia. A member of Mensa, the Sierra Club, the American Humane Society, the American Marketing Association and its Marketing and Society Special Interest Group, Professor many honors include Mercer Management Honor Graduate, the BellSouth Ace Award, an American Marketing Association Doctoral Consortium Fellowship, the Marketing and Public Policy Best Competitive Paper Award, and several other awards recognizing her dedication to teaching, research, and service. She was a devoted Christian who lovingly served her family, church, community, Sorority and College. She was born on May 28, 1920 in Clayton County, Georgia to the late Mr. Mrs. John Thomas Wolfe and Madie Jones Wolfe. She married the late Woodrow Ross in 1946 while he was serving as an officer in the US Army.

She attended primary school in Fairburn and Covington, GA and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Atlanta, in 1936. Ida attended Clark University and graduated in 1940 with a major in home economics and minors in education and biology. She earned a Master's Degree in Education Administration in 1963 from Atlanta University. Her career as an educator spanned over 45 years teaching on the Elementary and High School levels throughout the United States and Europe.

In 1984, she retired from the Atlanta Public School System as an Assistant Principal at Venetian Hills Elementary School. She is survived by daughters Barbara Howard and Jane Mosley of Atlanta; son Michael Ross Sr, (Marie) of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren Dana Ross, Michael Ross Jasmine Mosley and Edward Mosley III; brother, Roy Wolfe (Elise); nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
